Job summary

The Town Company, located inside Hotel Kansas City, is seeking experienced Servers and Bartenders who thrive in a polished dining environment. You will welcome guests, guide menus, prepare and deliver cocktails, and collaborate with Culinary and front-of-house teams to ensure a seamless, memorable experience.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of serving or bartending experience, fine dining preferred, and a passion for hospitality. Availability Wednesday through Sunday, 4:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Two years of food and beverage serving experience; fine dining experience preferred.
• Two years of bartending experience; craft cocktail experience preferred for bartenders.
• Strong knowledge of service standards, guest relations, and dining etiquette.
• Ability to learn and communicate full menu and beverage offerings with enthusiasm.
• Availability aligned with The Town Company's operating schedule: Wednesday through Sunday, 4:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth and genuine hospitality, anticipating needs throughout the experience.
• Develop a strong understanding of seasonal menus, ingredients, and beverage programs.
• Guide guests through the menu with thoughtful recommendations.
• Accurately take, enter, and deliver food and beverage orders while maintaining pace and detail.
• Serve wine, cocktails, and beverages with proper presentation and service standards.
• Prepare and present cocktails according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain clean, organized stations before, during, and after service.
• Collaborate with Culinary and front-of-house teams to keep service flowing smoothly.
• Check in with guests during the meal and respond quickly to needs.
