Carvers on 19, located on the top floor of the Hard Rock Hotel, seeks a dedicated Fine Dining Server Assistant. This position is essential in maintaining cleanliness and organization, supporting servers, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented, customer-focused team player with fine dining experience.
Qualifications
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks efficiently, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in a fine dining restaurant or food service is preferred.
- Meticulous attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and dedication to customer satisfaction.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Obtaining food safety certification and alcohol service licensing by the appropriate regulatory agency is a must for this position.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift objects up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the cleanliness of glassware, flatware, Chinaware, and miscellaneous cooking tools.
- Prepare the dining room for service by setting tables, stocking server-side stations, and maintaining a clean and inviting atmosphere.
- Assist servers with clearing plates, glasses, and silverware from tables.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables efficiently.
- Sweep, mop, and maintain the dining rooms as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests.
- Uphold cleanliness standards for stations and shared areas of responsibility.
- Perform all table bussing duties during the dining experience.
- Assist other employees as needed.
- Respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate these to the appropriate team member.
- Follow all laws pertaining to the sales and service of alcoholic beverages.
- Follow safe food handling procedures and provide a safe environment for guests.
