Job summary

Fiddler's Elbow Golf And Country Club Inc. in Bedminster, New Jersey, is seeking a Part Time Line Cook for our fine dining operations.

The position involves supporting the Sous Chef and Executive Chef with daily kitchen tasks and the execution of lunch and dinner services, as well as banquets and special events. The ideal candidate will have a Culinary Arts degree or related experience, and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays while maintaining high standards of cleanliness

Qualifications

• Culinary Arts degree and/or 2 years’ related experience preferred.
• Must be a citizen of the USA or possess a valid work permit.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends & holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance to Club recipes; Assist with preparation of soups, seafood, meats, sauces.
• Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces, to ensure sanitary practices.
• Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
• Properly store all food with dating and rotation to ensure portion control and quality.
• Assist in creation of daily specials and menus.
• Transport food items using a golf cart and follow safety rules when operating the cart.
