Job summary

Holy Name Medical Center is seeking a Dining & Hospitality Server to provide fine-dining service, residential hospitality, and room service for Villa Marie Claire residents, families, guests, and staff. The role opens the dining room in the morning, handles breakfast and lunch service, and coordinates with the Culinary Team and Nursing.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years in hospitality, and experience in fine-dining or healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of prior restaurant, hotel, private-club, or hospitality service experience.
• Fine-dining or private-club experience.
• Healthcare, senior living, hospice, hotel, or residential hospitality experience.
• SAFE Serve Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome guests with attentive, tableside service, using guests' last names when known.
• Take and enter orders in Square for Restaurants; communicate allergies to the Chef and Maître d’.
• Deliver and announce food and beverages using fine-dining service techniques.
• Maintain attentive service and reset tables quickly to show-ready condition.
• Prepare and deliver room-service trays with clinical precautions and coordinate with Nursing.
• Present and close checks; manage voids and payments with the Maître d’.
• Uphold HIPAA compliance and professional conduct within the hospice environment.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure smooth service across dining areas.
• Open and prepare dining spaces; ensure all zones are stocked and clean for service.
• Handoff to the Evening Server with status updates and outstanding needs.
