Job summary
Night Rooster in the Dallas Design District is seeking a Food Runner to deliver dishes promptly with courteous, front-of-house service. You will describe all dishes accurately and assist guests, working closely with expeditor and kitchen to ensure correct delivery.
The ideal candidate brings fine dining experience, a positive attitude, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, flexible weekends and holidays, and a team player mindset. Benefits include health and vision coverage and growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner.
- Describe all dishes accurately and answer questions pertaining to items.
- Communicate needs to servers, kitchen and management.
- Keep station and china clean and organized.
- Be a reliable team player and flexible with schedule.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and ensure they feel welcomed.
- Coordinate with expeditor/chef for correct dish delivery.
- Describe dishes clearly and answer guest questions.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables and service area.
- Attend pre-service meetings and perform side-work as assigned.
