Smith Senior Living in Orland Park, IL is seeking a Cook to join our dining team. Starting pay is $21.00 per hour with a 10% weekend differential, full-time hours 11:30AM–7:30PM.

Weekends and Holidays are required, with rotating off days Friday/Saturday or Wednesday/Thursday. The role involves following standardized recipes and therapeutic diets, overseeing prep, distribution, storage and sanitation, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Culinary certificate or degree preferred.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food in accordance with standardized recipes and therapeutic diets.
• Oversee all aspects of preparation, distribution, storage, and sanitation to assure all staff adheres to established procedures.
• Follows established safety, security, and sanitation precautions.
• Maintains production and temperature records accurately.
