Job summary

Jonathan Club in Los Angeles, CA is seeking an a la carte server to bring elevated food and beverage service to our members in a high-end environment. You will work with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience and report to the Restaurant Manager.

The role pays a flat hourly rate of $30.05 with no gratuities, and requires English proficiency, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work weekends. Prior server experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Comfortable knowledge level regarding product and property’s information.
• Proficiency in verbal and written English.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and work.
• Ability to work assigned shifts, including weekends.
• Basic knowledge of point-of-sale computers.
• Knowledge of Cleaning Standards in a commercial food operation.
• Works well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Attends roll call and reviews current meal period details.
• Demonstrates thorough understanding of reservations process
• Demonstrates thorough understanding of the restaurant steps of service.
• Demonstrates comfortable level of knowledge regarding all food and beverage products.
• Ensures member’s satisfaction and troubleshoots any guest issue.
• Follow proper alcohol and beverage control regulations, including the identification of minors.
• Assist and communicate with kitchen regarding any dietary special requests.
• Completes assigned opening and closing side work.
• Follow all health department regulations and Procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Adheres to all JC policies and procedures
• Perform any and other duties as assigned by supervisors.
