Job summary

Art Leaders Gallery in West Bloomfield, MI is seeking two part-time Art Preparators & Fine Art Installers. The roles involve hands-on handling, installation, and client-facing duties with occasional gallery support. The positions require lifting heavy artwork, working with ladders, and maintaining professional appearance while delivering exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• Be able to safely lift and maneuver artwork weighing more than 50 lbs.
• Comfortable using hand tools and basic installation equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to measure and level artwork.

Responsibilities

• Hang, install, and reposition artwork throughout the gallery.
• Safely handle and transport fine art for deliveries and installations.
• Patch, sand, and paint walls as needed after moves and exhibitions.
• Maintain clean and professional installation areas.
• Communicate professionally with clients and gallery staff.
