Stuller, Inc. is seeking a Findings Assembler to join its Manufacturing team in Lafayette, LA.

The role involves assembling earring posts and backings using tools such as peg boards, soldering pens, and various solders, under the supervision of the Traditional Manufacturing Manager. Responsibilities include completing training, communicating via corporate email, selecting appropriate pegboard sizes, loading parts, applying paste solder, labeling quality, and maintaining accuracy in repetitive

Qualifications

  • Good hand-eye coordination for precise assembly work.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills for training and communication purposes.
  • Ability to work independently and complete assignments within given parameters.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Capable of sitting for extended periods while performing repetitive production work.

Responsibilities

  • Complete periodic computer-based training as required.
  • Regularly check and respond to communications via your Stuller corporate email account.
  • Select the correct size pegboard for each job based on the batch ticket.
  • Load small parts into the pegboard for assembly.
  • Apply paste solder to parts using a tube applicator.
  • Prepare and label the quality of pieces on the pegboard.
  • Place finished boards on the designated table for pickup.
  • Maintain accuracy and quality while performing repetitive tasks.
  • Be flexible with work hours, especially during peak production times.

Join our Manufacturing team — production, assembly, operation of equipment, and more — and help us deliver an unmatched selection of products made with quality materials and workmanship. Our Traditional Manufacturing team refines jewelry using tools and machinery, ensuring quality through precise assembly, polishing, and inspection. The position of Findings Assembler is responsible for assembling earring posts and backings using tools such as a peg board, soldering pen, and various solders under the leadership of the Traditional Manufacturing Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete periodic computer-based training as required.
