Job summary

Description

Join our Manufacturing team — production, assembly, operation of equipment, and more — and help us deliver an unmatched selection of products made with quality materials and workmanship. The Die Striking department is responsible for manufacturing and preparing a variety of die-struck offerings, including earring backs, stone settings, stampings, and ring shanks. A substantial portion of the products produced in Die Striking are items utilized as components typically assembled to create a finished piece of jewelry.

The position of Die Striking Operator is responsible for processing components and end item jewelry products utilizing manual and semi-automated equipment like manual kick/screw presses, mechanical presses, and finish tumblers. This role involves handling copious quantities of precious metal, ultra-lightweight components, and requires keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage workflow to maintain cellular production and ensure on-time delivery of customer and production jobs.
  • Processing of die struck items with tooling and machinery from the various categories of offerings.
  • Assist in the finishing processes required for end items utilizing magnetic tumblers and multiple formats of centrifugal tumblers.
  • Effectively clean and prepare components to be transported to inventory.
  • Inspect and maintain quality of work being completed.
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Commitment to following safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal direction while maintaining quality standards.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining focus on repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to multitask and manage high-volume workloads efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification/training in technical manufacturing.
  • 2+ years of experience in die striking or related roles utilizing equipment for manufacturing.
  • Advanced knowledge of stamping and progressive tooling.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs with assistance.
  • Ability to utilize ergonomic equipment to help aid in repetitive tasks.
  • Protective equipment required in work environment.
    • Eye Protection, ear protection, gloves utilized for Sharp/Hot processes, aprons, steel toe shoes.
