Job summary

Willoughby Western Lake County Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Community Case Manager / Financial Wellness Coordinator to launch an employer-based financial wellness program in Lake County, Ohio. The role focuses on building relationships with employers, guiding employees to resources, and delivering coaching on budgeting and benefits.

You will work with employers, employees, schools, nonprofits, and community partners to improve access to community resources and financial stability for

Qualifications

• Degree in social work or human services preferred.
• Experience in case management or social services is desirable.
• Willingness to learn Lake County’s social service network.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with diverse partners.
• Discretion with personal and financial information.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel within Lake County.

Responsibilities

• Build and launch UWLC’s employer-based financial wellness program.
• Develop relationships with Lake County employers to grow participation.
• Provide confidential one-on-one financial wellness coaching to employees.
• Lead workshops on budgeting, benefits, retirement and other topics.
• Connect employees with local resources and track program outcomes.
• Support Poverty Collaborative and strengthen local service-provider linkages.
• Identify gaps in the community’s social service network and develop solutions.
