Job summary

KeyBank is seeking a Personal Banker at the Ransomville branch to engage clients, uncover financial needs, and offer guidance and solutions to support financial wellness in person and by phone. You will work with clients to open accounts, deepen relationships, and meet sales goals while collaborating with branch teams.

The role requires strong communication, integrity, and customer service, with a focus on proactive engagement, notary preferred, and availability for Saturday shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in developing current and new customer relationships, achieving sales goals, and building referral sources.
• Understanding of consumer credit - including loan-to-value, debt-to-income and credit reports.
• Foundational knowledge of sales and service techniques with clients, including tele-consulting, outside calling, prospecting, and networking.
• Demonstrated ability to influence business partners and leverage centers of influence.
• Working knowledge of PCs and digital platforms and ability to educate clients on digital capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Embodies a strong client experience culture, being present with every client and teammate and realizing the impact we can have on their day, personally, professionally, and financially.
• Listen for clues for financial wellness opportunities during client conversations and provide tailored financial wellness recommendations.
• Open personal and business accounts and support branch operations as needed.
• Develop partnerships with branch teammates and internal partners to grow client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and document client interactions.
