AmTrust North America seeks a summer associate to gain experience with the Finance Systems Team in Dallas. You will support production tickets, assist with configurations, and help gather business requirements while learning about AI tools and automation.

This internship is 4 days in office and 1 day remote, offering mentoring from your supervisor and opportunities to develop professional skills within a growing insurer.

Qualifications

• Rising senior status (Dec 2027 or May 2028) pursuing related bachelor's degree.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to convey information clearly and professionally.
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
• Strong analytical skills to gather information and draw conclusions.

• Manage and deliver on service request tickets via ServiceNow to ensure system continuity.
• Assist with hands-on system configurations and support projects to enhance financial architecture.

As a summer associate, you will be introduced to the skills necessary for a successful career at AmTrust North America by working closely with our Finance Systems Team. Throughout this internship, you will build a foundational background and robust overview of our financial systems architecture. You will be part of an active team solving production support challenges, assisting with systems architecture enhancements, and interacting with stakeholders to gather business requirements. Additionally, you will gain valuable exposure to emerging AI tools and automation as we look for ways to optimize our modern financial systems and workflows.

Note: This role works 4 days in office and 1 day remote out of our Dallas,TX office.

Responsibilities

• Managing and delivering on service request tickets through our ServiceNow queue to ensure system continuity
• Assisting with hands‑on system configurations and support projects to enhance our overall financial architecture
• Participate in professional development opportunities, including developing and strengthening hard skills
• Assist the team in testing, validating, or documenting new AI features introduced into our financial systems
• Play a role in supporting audit review and data requests
• Actively participates in discussions, capturing key takeaways, requirements, and action items

Qualifications

Required

• Rising Senior (December 2027 or May 2028) and actively pursuing bachelor's degree in related field
• Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information with clarity, empathy and professionalism
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
• Strong analytical skills to gather information, analyze facts, and draw sound conclusions

Preferred

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Visio
• Ability to analyze/reason through complex problems and make sound recommendations while consistently demonstrating honesty, integrity, courtesy, and respect when interacting with others
• A strong curiosity or baseline familiarity with how AI, machine learning, or automation is applied to business processes
• Major or Minor in Management Information Systems (MIS), Accounting, Finance, or relevant consulting experience
