Financial Systems Specialist - Washington, DC Law Firm - FULLY REMOTE! $110-130k

Our law firm client isseeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Systems Specialist with expertise in 3E software to join their team. This critical role will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of financial systems, ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of law firm financial practices and a proven track record of successfully managing and implementing 3E.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain the 3E financial system, including user management, security configurations, and system updates.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on 3E functionality and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and escalate complex problems to Thomson Reuters support as needed.
  • Develop and maintain custom reports and queries using 3E reporting tools (e.g., SSRS, Crystal Reports).
  • Manage data integrations between 3E and other firm systems (e.g., time & billing, CRM).
  • Participate in system upgrades and implementations, including testing and validation.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to identify and implement process improvements using 3E.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the financial systems.
  • Stay up-to-date on 3E updates and new features.
  • Document system configurations and procedures.
  • Manage vendor relationships related to 3E and other financial systems.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials and user documentation.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with SQL, in addition to financial systems administration, specifically with 3E, is required.
  • Deep understanding of law firm financial practices, including time & billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
  • Strong experience with 3E reporting tools (e.g., SSRS, Crystal Reports).
  • Experience with data integrations and ETL processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.

Experience with other legal-specific software is a plus.
