Job summary

Bally's Corporation in Providence, RI is seeking a Business Analyst to gather, document, and prioritize requirements and user stories for our Oracle EPM cloud and Oracle Fusion ERP projects, with emphasis on GL. You will translate business needs into functional specifications for the tech teams and stakeholders.

You will manage financial system tickets in JIRA, facilitate collaboration across business and technical groups, conduct testing and UAT, provide user documentation, and monitor

Qualifications

• RI Lottery License Ops experience or certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements and user stories.
• Analyze current and desired states of Oracle Environments including Oracle EPM cloud and Fusion ERP with focus on GL.
• Translate requirements into functional/technical specs for support teams and stakeholders.
• Create Functional Specifications Documents (FSD).
• Manage financial system tickets in JIRA; JIRA experience is a plus.
• Facilitate communication between business and technical teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Validate solutions meet business needs and expectations.
• Conduct testing, UAT, and QA of solutions.
• Provide end-user support and documentation.
• Monitor performance and impact; provide recommendations for enhancements.
• Support System Admin role in Oracle EPM for reports, dimensions, integrations.
• Assist Oracle Fusion integrations with third party providers and internal teams.
• Support validation and reconciliation of financial data and subledgers.

Description

Responsibilities:

• Gather, document, and prioritize the business requirements and user stories of a project or product.
• Analyze and document the current state and the desired state of our Oracle Environments including Oracle EPM cloud and Oracle Fusion ERP with focus on GL.
• Translate the business requirements into functional and technical specifications that can be understood by the support teams, any third party provider, and the key stakeholders.
• Create FSD (functional Specific Documents) as per the business requirement
• Managing and follow through on Financial System's tickets in JIRA. JIRA experience is a plus.
• Facilitate the communication and collaboration between the business and the technical team throughout the product lifecycle.
• Validate and verify the solutions meet the business needs and expectations.
• Conduct testing, user acceptance testing, and quality assurance of the solutions.
• Provide support, and documentation to the end-users and stakeholders.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance and impact of the solutions and provide feedback and recommendations for enhancement.
• Supports System Admins role in Oracle EPM for maintaining reports, dimensions, integrations.
• Support Oracle Fusion and integrations with third party provider, internal IT, and Financial System's team colleagues.
• Supports validation and reconciliation of financial data such as Balance Sheet and Income Statements with related data loading and connection to subledgers.

Target Salary:

• $70,000- $80,000 Annual Salary (DOE)

RI Lottery License Ops (preferred)
At least 2-3 years of experience with functional or operational support (preferred)
