Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC in Houston, TX seeks a Financial Systems Manager to own OneStream governance, reporting and automation. You will partner with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax and IT to deliver timely, accurate financial information for internal and external stakeholders.

This role blends technical accounting with systems expertise to improve reporting quality, strengthen controls and drive efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related discipline.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, consolidation, or financial systems experience.
  • 3+ years administering OneStream or a comparable consolidation and reporting system.
  • Strong consolidation and reporting system administration, report development, workflow, metadata, and hierarchy management experience.
  • Advanced Excel and financial data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and govern the OneStream platform.
  • Maintain system dimensions, metadata, account mappings, entity structures, hierarchies and security profiles.
  • Coordinate system upgrades, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, governance standards, and procedures.
  • Design, develop, and maintain standardized financial reports and dashboards.
  • Automate recurring financial reporting processes for efficiency and controls.
  • Support ERP integrations with OneStream and other tools.
  • Develop reporting controls to ensure data integrity and repeatability.

Job description

The Financial Systems Manager is responsible for the administration, governance, and continuous improvement of the company's financial reporting systems, with primary ownership of the OneStream platform. This role serves as the process owner for financial consolidations, management reporting, financial statement reporting, system hierarchy maintenance, and reporting automation initiatives.

This position partners closely with Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, IT, and regional finance teams to ensure timely, accurate, and actionable financial information is available for internal and external stakeholders. The role combines strong technical accounting knowledge with financial systems expertise to enhance reporting quality, strengthen controls, and drive process efficiencies across the organization. This position is on-site in Houston, TX.

Essential Job Functions
ONESTREAM SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION & GOVERNANCE
  • Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for the OneStream platform.
  • Maintain system dimensions, metadata, account mappings, entity structures, workflows, business rules, and security profiles.
  • Manage organizational hierarchies, consolidation structures, and chart of accounts mappings within OneStream.
  • Coordinate system upgrades, enhancement testing, user acceptance testing, and production deployment activities.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, governance standards, training materials, and operating procedures.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolution with internal IT, finance users, and external support resources.
REPORTING DEVELOPMENT, ANALYTICS & AUTOMATION
  • Design, develop, and maintain standardized financial reports, dashboards, and recurring reporting packages.
  • Automate recurring financial reporting processes to improve efficiency, reliability, and control.
  • Develop ad hoc reporting and analytical solutions for executive management and finance leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to improve visibility into financial performance through enhanced reporting and analytics.
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into scalable, controlled reporting solutions.
  • Maintain reporting structures that support statutory, management, operational, and segment reporting requirements.
  • Support ERP and financial system integration with OneStream and other reporting tools.
  • Develop and monitor reporting controls to ensure data integrity, consistency, and repeatability.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related discipline required.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, consolidation, or financial systems experience.
  • 3+ years administering OneStream or a comparable consolidation and reporting system.
  • Strong consolidation and reporting system administration, report development, workflow, metadata, and hierarchy management experience.
  • Advanced Excel and financial data analysis skills; platform.
Certification and Licenses
  • OneStream or comparable consolidation and reporting system certification or formal training preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Talking, hearing and using hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Job will require punctual attendance and regular presence on-site at the assigned work location.
