Job Description

The Financial Systems Consultant serves as a financial system and process subject matter expert with a high level of understanding of General Ledger process, Chart of Accounts, Allocations, and Fixed Assets. This position will represent these areas of expertise with regard to financial system knowledge on a multi-year ERP implementation, as well as prioritized projects, process improvements, advanced research, root cause analysis, complex issue research, documentation, advanced communications, training, testing, ongoing system support, and report development.

Responsibilities

• Lead team collaboration with multiple Finance teams which may include General Ledger process, Chart of Accounts, Ledger and SubLedger, Allocations, and Fixed Assets in the design planning, development, and deployment of new applications as well as enhancements to existing applications
• Lead the functional analysis, design, and implementation of financial system enhancements and day-to-day support
• Leverage finance applications to support and optimize business processes
• Review and analyze existing financial processes to identify opportunities and make recommendations for improvement
• Research and determine root cause and collaborate with others to resolve complex finance and technical issues and internal customer inquiries
• Facilitate testing for new or improved systems or processes including creation of a test plan, identifying test cases, and performing or leading User Acceptance and Joint Cycle Testing
• May provide guidance, mentoring, and work direction to others on the team
• Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience; HS diploma or GED is required
• 7 years of work experience in Finance or Accounting including:
• At least 3 years of functional experience in areas such as General Ledger, Chart of Accounts
• At least 2 years of experience working in the PBM/Healthcare industry
• ERP and/or EPM Experience (Preferably Oracle ERP Cloud)
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

• Expert interpersonal skills necessary to drive results and deliver on commitments in a collaborative fashion
• Skillful at meeting facilitation, conflict management, and consensus building
• Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and ability to work under pressure with strict timelines in a fast-paced work environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio
• Strong analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA
• Experience with cloud ERP solutions
• Business analysis, project management, and/or process improvement
• Finance system implementation experience
• Rebate Accounting experience

Physical Demands

• Frequently required to reach with hands and arms

Potential pay ranges from $108,000 to $184,000 based on experience and skills.
