We are seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent quantitative skills for a mid-to-senior level Financial Analyst position.
Responsibilities
- Providing advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets
- Measure organizational performance; assess the effects of various programs and policies on the budget
- Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives. Examine past and current budgets and research
- Economic and financial developments that affect the organization’s spending
- Coordinate financial activities across various stakeholders. Manage finances across multiple funding types
- Track budgets, costs, and variances. Produce executive summaries. Conduct financial reporting and analysis on financial issues and customer requirements
- Execute financial management for US government FMS efforts, including reconciliation of financial and logistical systems. Monitor and manage case performance, prepare reports on case execution status, and keep purchasers informed.
- Prepare and process requisitions for FMS activities, ensuring on-time deliveries, and maintain financial records
Skills Required
- At least seven (7) years of experience in supporting budget preparation, presentation, and execution; financial presentations and action resolution, and task planning and preparation of task planning sheets
- At least seven (7) years of experience with Navy ERP, MSIL and NEPS
- Experience with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) financial management and FMS cases
- Strong analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, and have strong verbal and written communications skills
- Must be able to work autonomously as well as within a team/collaborative environment
Salary range: $80,000 - $110,000/Year depending on experience and qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
