CNA is seeking a Financial Systems Advisory Senior Analyst to help govern and optimize cloud-based financial systems like Workday, Adaptive, and Cadency. You will translate business needs into system configurations, safeguard data integrity, and drive improvements through collaboration with finance and IT partners.

Financial Systems Governance (FSG) is responsible for driving efficient operations through innovative use of our financial technology to help strengthen our financial position. The primary role for this team is to ensure effective and efficient management of our financial systems, which includes system configuration for Workday and Cadency, security and reports configuration, Adaptive integrations support, and ensure high-quality financial governance and controls that safeguard the company. The team also serves as a liaison between Finance system end users and our IT partners (internal and external).
The Financial Systems Advisory Senior Analyst is an individual contributor who should have expertise within a domain of insurance and cloud based financial systems associated with finance, actuarial, or corporate processing and reporting applications. They will provide expertise on financial system related configuration changes by ensuring impacts are fully assessed and documented, building a positive customer experience by interacting with our business partners to understand business problems and requests, providing solutions, and initiating/driving process improvements within the team.

Proficiency with financial systems such as Workday, Adaptive, and Cadency. Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to effectively resolve moderately complex situations and issues Solid and developing understanding of Workday’s architecture and core functions such as business process configuration, security configuration, custom report building, Workday Prism Analytics, Discovery Boards, Worksheets and different types of Workday integration systems (EIB, connector, studio) Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills to work effectively among all levels of internal/external partners/customers. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced dynamic workforce. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Skillful at learning new system applications/functions. Embraces, and readily adapts to, change. Embraces AI capabilities
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology or equivalent work experience Typically a minimum of three to five years of experience in accounting or in supporting Financial systems and financial data, as required by position. Project management related experience a plus. Computing skills including, but not limited to: Workday, Alteryx, Tableau Prep, MS Office Suite, SQL, Co-pilot. One or more financial systems, insurance or functional certifications such as AIC, CPCU, Workday financials certified, or CPA helpful but not required.

In certain jurisdictions, CNA is legally required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. In District of Columbia, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York and Washington, the national base pay range for this job level is $54,000 to $103,000 annually. Salary determinations are based on various factors, including but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
