Job summary

Horizon Global Partners seeks a Financial Systems Administrator to deliver comprehensive IT and financial-application support within a DoD environment. You will manage Windows workstations, AD accounts, and enterprise apps while coordinating with Comptroller operations and HQ staff.

Responsibilities include patching, incident resolution, asset management, and documentation of continuity procedures; perfomance in a highly secure setting is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide IT support to HQ ACC/FM and Comptroller personnel and manage workstations, printers, scanners, and peripherals.
  • Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and troubleshoot ~55 government workstations per location.
  • Serve as Financial Systems Support Administrator (FSA) tracking patching, upgrades, and compliance.
  • Administer AD user/computer/group accounts and ensure cybersecurity requirements.
  • Maintain AF Portal/SharePoint content and support collaboration among admins.
  • Provide training in Microsoft Windows, Office, Teams, Power BI and telework tools.
  • Handle hardware: VoIP, MFDs, VTC equipment, and mobile devices.
  • Develop continuity procedures and status reports for financial applications.

Job description

Job Description Financial Systems Administrator will be responsible for providing computer systems administration, financial systems application support, IT asset management, telecommunications support, and technical assistance to Air Force financial management and Comptroller operations. Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional IT support to HQ ACC/FM and Comptroller personnel, including administration and maintenance of workstations, monitors, printers, scanners, and standard peripherals.
  • Install, configure, maintain, patch, upgrade, and troubleshoot approximately 55 government workstations per supported location in accordance with applicable Air Force network and communications guidance.
  • Serve as the Financial Systems Support Administrator (FSA), tracking workstation patching, upgrades, compliance requirements, and required reporting.
  • Serve as the unit Information Technology Asset Manager (ITAM) and Equipment Custodian, maintaining accountability, inventories, hand receipts, equipment records, and disposition of excess or obsolete equipment.
  • Serve as the technical focal point for multiple Comptroller and financial applications; install, maintain, upgrade, troubleshoot, and support applications on government workstations.
  • Assist Financial Systems Administrators at supported locations with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and resolution of financial application issues.
  • Provide same-day response to reported application, operating system, database, and server malfunctions and initiate resolution or appropriate escalation within required timelines.
  • Develop and maintain continuity procedures and documentation for supported financial applications and review procedures periodically for accuracy.
  • Administer Active Directory user, computer, and group account properties and support applicable cybersecurity and network administration requirements.
  • Identify, report, and track network issues and outages through appropriate help desk and Network Operations Security Center (NOSC) channels.
  • Provide one-on-one Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Power BI, and approved telework technology assistance and training as required.
  • Maintain AF Portal and SharePoint content and support collaboration among Financial Systems Administrators.
  • Support telecommunications equipment, including VoIP, telephones, mobile devices, conference room projection equipment, Video Teleconference (VTC) systems, and related hardware.
  • Maintain printer consumables and coordinate vendor technical support when hardware issues cannot be resolved locally.
  • Research and recommend hardware and software solutions based on operational requirements, cost, market availability, and technology refresh needs.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager.
Requirements
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Experience providing system administration and IT support in a government, military, or enterprise environment.
  • Experience equivalent to an intermediate-level System Administrator supporting Windows-based workstations, peripherals, applications, and enterprise IT environments.
  • Experience installing, configuring, maintaining, patching, and troubleshooting Windows workstations and standard IT peripherals.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, operating system, network, and application issues.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and related enterprise applications.
  • Experience with IT asset accountability, equipment inventory, and configuration management.
  • Ability to administer or support Active Directory user, computer, and group accounts.
  • Ability to read and follow technical documentation, maintain continuity procedures, and prepare status reports.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a government/DoD environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 40 pounds and move/install computer equipment as required.
Preferred
  • Candidate must possess a DoD-approved foundational qualification applicable to Work Role 451 at the Intermediate level, such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cloud+, GSEC, GICSP, SSCP, or an approved equivalent qualification.
  • Must meet DoD 8140 requirements for DCWF Work Role 451 – System Administrator, Intermediate level.
  • Experience supporting Air Force financial management or Comptroller organizations.
  • Experience with DEAMS, DTS, DJMS, DMO, AFM, CDS, CRIS, Financial Management Suite, IAPS, JOCAS, ADVANA, Leave Web, or PIEE.
  • Experience with Active Directory, SharePoint, VoIP, VTC, and government mobile devices.
  • Knowledge of Air Force IT equipment accountability and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Knowledge of DoD and Air Force financial systems and their application environments.
