Job summary

Maritz is seeking a hybrid financial systems support professional in the Fenton, MO area. You will monitor end-user inquiries, balance data between systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 2+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with financial applications and BI tools. Emphasis on training, documentation, and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage support mailbox for end-user inquiries.
• Performs financial daily and monthly balancing for data sent or received between systems.
• Investigates production issues, involving cross-functional teams when needed.
• Provide end-user training and support for upstream/downstream application teams.
• Complete reports, metrics, and analysis as required.
• Build strong relationships with users and propose system/process improvements.
• Test and document changes for enhancements, upgrades, and new functionality.
• Maintain system reference and end-user documentation.
• Provide financial business support as requested.

Provides efficient, functional support to one or more designated financial processes or systems acting as the Subject Matter Expert. This includes daily transactional processing and balancing, customer support/trouble shooting, completes/maintains documentation, delivers user training, executes change management, tests new or adjusted functionality, and provides other ongoing support.
