Federal Auditor (Staff Level)
Location: Hybrid/Remote - McLean, VA or Alexandria, VA
Clearance: U.S. Citizenship required (RM Advisory (RMAS) able to Sponsor for DoD Security Clearance (Secret or Top-Secret); Active Secret clearance preferred, but not required)

Job Overview:
RM Advisory is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Federal Auditors to join our team. As part of RMAS, you’ll have the opportunity to work in the federal government space, assisting clients with financial audits and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct financial statement audits in accordance with federal guidelines
  2. Evaluate financial records and controls, ensuring compliance with regulations
  3. Collaborate with clients and team members to deliver clear, accurate audit reports
  4. Support in the preparation and review of financial documents and statements

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
  2. 1-4 years of financial statement audit experience
  3. Strong academic performance (GPA 3.2+)
  4. Excellent written and oral communication skills
  5. U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain a DoD Security Clearance (Secret or Top-Secret) – sponsorship available
  6. Preferred: CPA certification or related certifications (CDFM, CIA, CGFM)
