Lynch Consultants is seeking a Financial Statement Analyst to support the Department of the Navy (DON) and the United States Marine Corps (USMC). We are recruiting early‑career Financial Associates to provide functional accounting support across high‑impact DON and USMC financial management operations.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in areas such as Annual Financial Report (AFR) preparation and auditing, DFAS, Journal Voucher (JV) reviews, financial reporting, and financial statement crosswalks.

$63,000 - $84,000/yr commensuratewith experience.
Hybrid Schedule: Team members are expected to work one (2) days onsite inAlexandria, VA with three (3) days remote (WFH). Work location status can change at any time due to project demands.
MUST have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a Business Management-related field.
MUSThave at least1-3+yearsof federalaccountingorfinancial managementexperience.
MUST haveproficiencyin preparing Annual Financial Reports (AFRs), Reviewing Journal Vouchers(JVs), Financial Reporting, Financial Statement Crosswalks, and experience working at or with DFAS.
MUST haveproficiencywith DoWfinancial systems (e.g., N-ERP, DAI) and data analytics platforms (e.g.,Advana, Jupiter).
MUST have an active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
MUST be a US Citizen.
MUST be located inthe National Capital Region (DC, Virginia, Maryland).
MUST have one of the following professional certifications or the ability to obtain one within 6-months of being hired: CPA, CISA, CGFM, CDFM.
DoW, DON, or USMC experience in federalfinancial management, accounting, or auditreadiness. Experience with N-ERP or DAI.
Ability to review and verify financial documentation for accuracy,completeness, and compliance withDoW, DON, and USMC Financial ManagementRegulations.
Experiencedreconciling data across financial systems,identifyingdiscrepancies, andimplementing corrective actions.
Advancedproficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability topresent findings to senior stakeholders.
