Job summary

Lynch Consultants, LLC seeks an Audit Remediation & Operation Support Specialist to support an Intelligence Agency client in the National Capital Region. This onsite role involves staff supervision, overall planning, and direct client contacts, with opportunities to influence financial controls and process improvements.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in accounting/financial management, 4+ years in related audit remediation or internal controls work, and an active TS or TS-SCI clearance or

• MUST have 6 years of accounting/financial management experience, including 4 years in Federal Financial Reporting, GL analysis, audit remediation, or related areas.
• MUST have active TS, TS-SCI clearance or eligible for TS-SCI clearance.
• MUST be a US citizen.
• MUST be located in the National Capital Region (DC, VA, MD); relocation bonus offered.

This person isresponsible for staff supervision, overall planning, and client contacts,assistedasnecessary by subject matter experts, and may perform auditremediation services related to the property lifecycle.

Salary:

Up to $160,000/yrcommensuratewith experience.

Work Location and Schedule:

• This work is onsite in Springfield, VA 5-days/week

Required Qualifications – Must Have:

• MUST haveaBachelor's orMaster's degree in Accounting or Business Managementrelated field.
• MUSThave6 years of accountingorfinancial managementexperience,including a minimum of 4 years of experience performing one or more of the following: Federal Financial Reporting, General Ledger Analysis, Audit Remediation, Financial Process Improvement through Automation, Documenting and Testing Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting in accordance with OMB Circular A-123, or Determining the value of capital assets.
• MUST have an active TS,TS-SCI clearance or eligible for a TS-SCI clearance.
• MUST be a US citizen.
• MUSTbe located inthe National Capital Region (DC, Virginia, Maryland). Relocation bonus will be offered.

PreferredQualifications:

• DoD / Intelligence communityfinancial managementexperience.
• Federal or Commercial financial statement audit experience.
• One of the following certifications is highly desired: CPA, CIA, CFE, CFGM, and/or CDFM.

Skills & Duties:

• Familiarity with OMB Circular A-123.
• Knowledge of FASAB Accounting Standards related to Property, Plant, and Equipment(PP&E).
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
