Job description

This licensed Financial Representative or Investment Advisory Representative will work as a 1099 independent contractor to sell life insurance and retirement products. Since this is 1099 work, the individual will operate as their own boss, setting their own hours, and can work remotely. Partnering with local agents, they will have access to an existing customer base of thousands of households who already have car and/or home insurance, with the goal of selling financial products to deepen relationships and build a solid client base.

The company offers a full suite of financial products, including:

  • Life insurance
  • Annuities (fixed, indexed, variable)
  • Mutual funds
  • IRAs
  • 403(b)s and 529s
  • Workplace life and supplemental health insurance
  • Fidelity Custody Clearing and Solutions
  • UITs and Managed Assets
  • FMAX -- Investment Advisory platform
  • Buffered and traditional UITs

Compensation is commission and bonuses, with international incentive trips and supplemental benefits. Top performers last year earned an average of $525K, while the lowest performers earned around $120K.

Must Haves:

  • Series 6 or Series 7 license
  • License to sell life and health insurance (one license covers both) or ability to obtain it before start date
  • Outgoing personality and strong communication skills to build and maintain client relationships
  • Targeting skillsets aligned with brands like Lincoln, Equitable/AXA, Foresters, John Hancock, Protective Life, Prudential, Corebridge, Sammons (not Allstate partners)
