At Bank of America, we are guided by a common purpose to help make financial lives better through the power of every connection. We do this by driving Responsible Growth and delivering for our clients, teammates, communities, and shareholders every day.

Being a Great Place to Work is core to how we drive Responsible Growth. This includes our commitment to being a diverse and inclusive workplace, attracting and developing exceptional talent, supporting our teammates’ physical, emotional, and financial wellness, recognizing and rewarding performance, and making an impact in the communities we serve.

At Bank of America, you can build a successful career with opportunities to learn, grow, and make an impact. Join us!

We are creating meaningful relationships with individuals and businesses across the country. Each day, we connect with 67 million clients through our specialist workforce and digital platform. We aim to provide care and guidance for our clients when they need us most—whether starting out, buying a home, building a family, or planning for retirement. We are looking for the next generation of Financial Advisors—those passionate about growing a long-term career and improving clients’ financial lives.

If you are passionate about helping clients reach their financial goals, join Bank of America as an investment specialist in one of over 4,000 financial centers nationwide. From day one, you will receive training from our Academy, including hands-on practice, personalized coaching, and support throughout onboarding. The Academy offers a multi-stage training program to equip you with the skills needed for success.

As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), your journey begins with obtaining Securities Industry licenses, including dedicated classes for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 Exams. After obtaining your licenses, you will learn foundational skills such as acquiring, building, and managing client relationships, considering complex financial situations, and guiding clients with advice and solutions to improve their financial lives. Once you reach key milestones, you will work in a financial center to deliver Bank of America’s banking and investment solutions.

Success as a licensed Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I typically leads to progression into Stage II, where you will deepen client relationships and manage a portfolio. The Academy supports your career growth with programs, tools, and resources.

This position requires SAFE Act registration, which involves registration with the federal registry system and a background check. Failure to maintain registration may result in termination.

We’ll help you:

  • Build a successful career through world-class training and onboarding.
  • Receive coaching from Academy managers invested in your success.
  • Grow your knowledge using a consultative approach to identify client needs and solutions.
  • Earn licenses (SIE within 30 days, Series 7 & 66 within 120 days).
  • Build your network by interacting with various clients.
  • Provide comprehensive advice and client reviews confidently.
  • Collaborate with banking and investment partners to meet client needs.

As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I, you can look forward to:

  • Unlimited potential for financial growth.
  • A strong referral base from our relationship with households.
  • Managing a client portfolio with industry-leading products and services.
  • Marketing support to reach wider audiences.
  • Ongoing professional development.
  • Opportunities to connect with experts like mortgage lenders and investment advisors.

Our culture:

  • Supports responsible growth and community service.
  • Provides continuous training and development.
  • Values diversity to better serve our clients.
  • Focuses on advancing tools, technology, and client-first approaches.

Required skills:

  • Goal-oriented with the ability to achieve targets.
  • Comfortable in sales roles and building relationships.
  • Clear and confident communication skills.
  • Team player with productive collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage complexity and prioritize tasks.
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills.
  • Time management and thoroughness, including regulatory compliance.

Desired skills:

  • Strong computer skills and multitasking ability.
  • Bachelor’s degree or 1-2 years’ experience in financial services or sales.
  • Experience in assessing client needs and managing relationships.
