Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I to begin by obtaining Securities Industry licenses and building foundational advisory skills. You’ll learn to acquire, build, and manage client relationships while delivering core banking and investment solutions.

The role offers a clear progression path to Stage II within Bank of America and Merrill, with training and dedicated development programs.

Qualifications

• Aptitude in obtaining required industry licenses.
• Must be self‑disciplined in managing time and capacity.
• Experience in cultivating client relationships, accessing needs and recommending solutions.
• Success creating strong peer relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
• Demonstrates a results‑driven mindset while prioritizing client’s interest in a complex, fast‑paced environment.
• Executes multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Learns and adapts to new technology or applications.
• Currently holds FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE)
• Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of one year of financial services industry or sales experience

Responsibilities

• Deliver core banking and investment solutions to clients.
• Build and manage client relationships and identify financial needs.
• Collaborate with banking and investment partners to meet client needs.
• Obtain SIE within 30 days of hire and Series 7/66 within 120 days.
• Progress through the Academy to other roles within Bank of America and Merrill.
