Role Overview:

The primary role of the Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I - Registration Candidate is to acquire necessary registrations and training to become a Financial Solutions Advisor (FSA) Stage I). Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help them achieve their financial goals.
  2. Conducting client reviews and presentations, including investment goals and product recommendations such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, banking, and managed money solutions.
  3. Engaging with customers in the lobby and sharing value propositions.
  4. Triaging client leads and referring them to appropriate internal service providers based on needs and asset thresholds.
  5. Participating in ongoing training and interactions with the Merrill Lynch Wealth Management Complex.
  6. Having a general awareness of core banking and investment solutions, bridging banking and brokerage services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Series 7 & 66 licenses must be obtained within 120 days (Series 63 & 65 accepted if previously held).
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt and seek solutions for clients.
  • This role requires SAFE Act registration and compliance with related background checks.
Minimum Education:

High School Diploma / GED or equivalent.
