Teachers Federal Credit Union in Oakdale, NY is hiring a Financial Services Representative II to build relationships with our members and guide them to online and mobile banking, while serving them in person.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma, one year of branch experience, and the ability to obtain a notary commission within six months. We offer incentives, PTO, a 401(k) match, tuition reimbursement, and loan-discount opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's in Business may substitute.
• Minimum one year of branch experience.
• Minimum two years in customer service, call center, or sales.
• Commissioned notary or able to obtain notary commission within six months.
• Banking products, cross-selling, member onboarding, and retail banking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with new and existing members to understand their financial needs.
• Process routine and complex financial transactions quickly and accurately (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier’s checks, IRA).
• Recommend financial solutions to meet spending, saving, borrowing, and investing goals.
• Educate members to bank more efficiently via web, mobile, and ATM.
• Participate in offsite membership development events to promote membership.
• Identify members’ financial goals and refer to internal specialists to help meet them.
• Outreach by phone and email; outbound sales, follow-ups, and proactive check-ins.
