We have an immediate need for a Financial Services Director to lead the Defined Contribution Plans group. This is a full time direct hire opportunity that offers an excellent salary and benefits package. This position is located in Bucks County, PA right outside of the Philadelphia Metro Area.

Job Duties Include:

• Serve as the firm lead on overall evaluation of current participant-directed DC plans
• Conduct periodic reviews of DC plans, including plan design, fee analysis, and review of service providers and perform searches, as needed
• Review and evaluate DC plan service provider responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
• Conduct periodic reviews of DC plan fees; identify revenue sharing agreements, per-participant costs, reasonableness of fees and evaluate options to reduce overall costs
• Lead the development of DC Investment Policy Statements as needed
• Review and evaluate investment plan options and overall program offerings: analyze investment performance (in conjunction with IPS’ Research team), fees, appropriateness, etc.
• Attend client meetings to review DC plans and provide Trustee education
• Keep current on trending topics for DC plans (fees, litigation, cybersecurity, etc.) and communicate on these topics both internally to IPS staff and Investment Committee, as well as to clients
• Assist IPS field consultants as needed with other (non-DC) clients
• Evaluate investment managers across a variety of asset classes using quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Assist with the creation and maintenance of client educational materials
• Identify opportunities to expand the participant-directed DC practice through new client acquisitions and participate in new business presentations

Job Requirements Include:

• At least five years’ experience working with participant-directed DC plans, ideally in a client-facing role (sales, client service, consulting, etc.) with a recordkeeper, consulting firm or investment manager
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent background in investments, business, accounting, mathematics or other relevant areas
• MBA and/or CFA designation preferred
• Have a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel within the United States
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong listening and questioning abilities
• Familiarity with routine financial calculations
• Skilled in the use of MS Office: Word, Power Point and Excel
