Job summary

First Commerce Credit Union is seeking a Financial Services Officer to help members navigate consumer lending, everyday banking, and FCCU solutions. You will originate loans, respond to needs, and guide members toward smarter financial decisions.

You will interview applicants, explain terms, approve/deny within guidelines, and support lending operations while promoting self‑serve tools and accurate filing for a strong financial journey.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of credit union deposit and loan products (including mortgages).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Consistently positive, courteous member service.
• Flexible Monday–Friday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Originate consumer loans and respond to member needs with proactive guidance.
• Interview loan applicants, explain options and terms, approve/deny loans within guidelines.
• Support loan servicing functions, balance transactions, and promote self‑service tools.
• Grow book of business by building relationships inside and outside the financial center.
