Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to at least one U.S. state bar (additional admissions a plus).
  • 2–5 years of experience in creditors’ rights, bankruptcy, or financial services litigation.
  • Strong litigation, drafting, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Represent creditors, lenders, and financial institutions in state and federal proceedings, including matters involving foreclosure, collections, and bankruptcy
  • Advise clients on loan restructuring, workouts, and recovery strategies
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda related to debt enforcement and financial disputes
  • Negotiate and prepare settlement agreements, loan modifications, forbearance agreements, and related transactional documents
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex commercial and financial issues
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Position Summary

Our client, a well-regarded mid-sized law firm, is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Financial Services and Creditors’ Rights practice. Key Responsibilities
