Job summary

Canvas Credit Union is looking for a Consultant to engage with members, learn their financial needs, and educate them on lending solutions tailored to life goals. You will process a variety of transactions and help members achieve their plans, from buying a home to managing money.

The role emphasizes growth through Canvas' Retail Step Program and ongoing training. You will work a 35–40 hour week, with a starting pay of $23.90 per hour and opportunities for language differential and bonuses based

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or relationship banking is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial products and services.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience at current workplace.

Responsibilities

• Learn about our members and understand their situations.
• Educate members on how Canvas can help them afford life.
• Provide lending solutions with care and ethics.
• Process transactions accurately (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments).
• Perform advanced transactions (IRAs, CDs, wire transfers) and handle disputes calmly.
• Grow with the company by learning about trends and products.
