Job summary

Cognizant, in Mesa, Arizona, is seeking a Call Center Agent to handle inbound shareholder and client calls, perform research on account issues, and make outbound follow-ups as needed. You will maintain accounts across systems, ensuring accuracy and client satisfaction while meeting service standards.

Training will be conducted onsite at the client location in Mesa, AZ. After successful training, employees may transition to a remote work arrangement; a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1-5 years of experience in a call center in a customer service environment ideally in a Financial Services industry.
• Strong Verbal and Written English.
• Very good keyboard skills – Formal Training in Typing would be an added advantage.
• Conversant using MS Office – PowerPoint, Excel and MS Word.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Customer Centric.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from shareholders, brokers and institutional clients with accuracy and professionalism.
• Make outbound follow-up calls to shareholders when issues cannot be resolved on the spot.
• Maintain shareholder accounts on required systems and keep management informed of client feedback.
• Adhere to daily schedule and call handling requirements.
• Provide research and information on balances, prices, and portfolio performance.
