Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Call Center Agent (CSR) to handle inbound shareholder calls and provide accurate information on accounts, balances, and quotes. The role includes researching issues, making outbound follow-ups, and maintaining client records with strict verification procedures.

Training is onsite at the client location in Mesa, AZ, with a transition to remote work afterward. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience plus 1–5 years in a financial services call center are preferred, along

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1-5 years of experience in a call center in a customer service environment ideally in a Financial Services industry
• Strong Verbal and Written English
• Very good keyboard skills – Formal Training in Typing would be an added advantage.
• Conversant using MS Office – PowerPoint, Excel and MS Word.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from shareholders and prospective shareholders with accuracy and professionalism.
• Perform necessary research regarding account problems and make outbound follow-up calls as needed.
• Adhere to account verification procedures and CPU call handling requirements.
• Respond with information on balances, closing prices, portfolio performance and quotes.
• Maintain shareholder accounts on the required systems and escalate issues when necessary.
