• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, and financial services regulation.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning through issuance for financial services clients.
• Develop audit strategies, risk assessments, and engagement plans.
• Review audit workpapers for standards compliance.
• Oversee engagement timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Build and maintain client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
• Provide recommendations to improve financial reporting, internal controls, and operational processes.
• Advise clients on evolving accounting, auditing, and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff and seniors.
• Review financial statements and related disclosures for accuracy and compliance.
• Support business development initiatives and growth of the Financial Services practice.
