Business Unit: Cubic Transportation Systems

Job Summary: Responsible for all back-end settlement transactions and the reporting associated with these tasks, including timely reconciliation of all accounts assigned. This position typically works with general supervision and direction. Incumbents will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Settles high-volume financial transactions daily, accurately and timely.
2. Ensures proper functioning of data transfers between system interfaces such as Microsoft Dynamics, external payment processors, and settlement banks.
3. Reconciles daily funds movements with actual results reported.
4. Enters data involving processing debit/credit transactions.
5. Analyzes chargebacks and follows up with merchant banks and credit card issuers as needed.
6. Analyzes payment fees for optimal processing results.
7. Reconciles various General Ledger accounts at month-end and provides reports on clearing and settlement activity.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Four-year college degree preferably in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least two (2)+ years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of Electronic Funds Movement is desirable.
• Proficiency in managing and analyzing large data sets.
• Experience with tools like Power BI/Tableau is highly desirable.
• Good time management skills and ability to work as a team player.
• Strong organization and follow-up skills.
• Ability to succeed under general supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Cubic Pay Range: $30.00 – $40.00 + benefits. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest to highest geographic market. The pay range is a guideline and not a guarantee. Additional factors include responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, bargaining agreements, or legal considerations.
