About the Role:A Financial Services Sales Assistant II provides administrative and operational support for one or more Financial Advisor(s) and serves as a liaison between Financial Advisor(s) and their clients. A sales assistant has a large influence on client satisfaction.Provide administrative support in a variety of ways, including by answering incoming calls, organizing filing systems, coordinating schedules, and preparing correspondence and documentsSend various forms to clients as requested and required.Assist Financial Advisors with client support and time managementProcess confidential informationOpen, maintain, and service client accountsFollow up on missing paperworkProcess new accounts and filesPerform daily business processing to include department mail and processing checks and securities.Maintain the client and mailing databaseUpdate Financial Advisors’ calendarsService clients by researching and resolving problemsProvide quote information and mutual fund trade entryEquity trades can be entered by Series 7 licensed employeesAccept unsolicited mutual fund and money market investment direction from clientsCoordinate and assist Financial Advisor(s) with client events by marketing, mailing, following up, and assisting on the day of the eventWork with the operations department for account maintenance and to initiate and update client instructionsComplete department projectsMaintain the client scanning system so records are accurate and completeBalance settlement account and review trade blotters.Review and notify Financial Advisor(s) of new referralsDemonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training.
