Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Finance & Accounting Manager to lead financial reporting, internal controls, and technical accounting for U.S. GAAP statements and related packages. This role will strengthen internal controls, develop accounting policies, and enhance the Workiva reporting environment.

The position partners with Controllership, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Internal Audit, and external auditors, contributing to a robust control environment and continuous improvement of reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Active CPA license required.
• Six or more years of progressive accounting / financial reporting experience.
• Experience preparing or auditing U.S. GAAP financial statements and disclosures.
• Knowledge of internal controls over financial reporting and documentation.
• Ability to translate accounting guidance into journal entries and procedures.
• Strong GL, consolidation, and close process understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and review of quarterly and annual U.S. GAAP financial statements and bank reporting.
• Maintain financial reporting calendar, checklists, and period-end documentation.
• Develop and enhance the Workiva financial reporting environment and structures.
• Collaborate with Controllership, Treasury, Tax, Legal, and Audit stakeholders.
• Support internal control development, risk assessments, and remediation efforts.
• Research technical accounting issues and prepare memoranda and updates.
• Support audits and drive process improvements in reporting workflows.
