Job summary

Speed Bay Warehouse Solutions seeks a Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager to serve as the primary technical accounting expert for real estate funds and assets. The role advises leadership on GAAP, SEC reporting, and policy; collaborates with auditors, legal, and investor relations, and supports fund-level financial operations.

The ideal candidate brings 6–10+ years in real estate accounting and REIT experience, plus CPA and Big 4 exposure, to guide complex transactions and ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA required.
• 6–10+ years in progressive accounting with 3–5 years at Big 4 or large regional firm in real estate or asset management.
• Experience with SEC reporting for a public company or registered fund.
• Deep US GAAP knowledge with emphasis on real estate and investment management.
• Experience with REIT structures and qualification rules.

Responsibilities

• Research, memorialize, and present GAAP positions; manage policy updates.
• Oversee SEC filings (10-K/10-Q/8-K) and related disclosures.
• Coordinate with auditors, counsel, and investors on quarterly reporting.
• Manage fund-level reporting, waterfalls, and carry calculations.
• Lead or support audit fieldwork and internal control evidence.
