Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA certification or active progress toward CPA preferred.
• 2–5 years of public accounting, corporate accounting, financial reporting, or related experience required.
• Public accounting or insurance industry experience with SEC and statutory reporting knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, workpapers, management reports, and documentation for internal and external reporting requirements.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, GL analyses, and schedules for monthly/quarterly close processes.
• Support SEC filings, statutory reporting, and other regulatory accounting requirements.
• Maintain accounting controls and reconcile key accounts to supporting records.
• Prepare documentation for audits, budgeting activities, and other accounting initiatives.
• Partner with leadership to improve close procedures, reporting workflows, and financial systems.
