Job summary

Leeds Professional Resources is partnering with a client in the St. Pete/Largo/Clearwater area to hire a Financial Reporting Manager. This role leads monthly internal financial management reporting and disclosure to leadership.

You will review journal entries and complex general ledger reconciliations, research U.S. GAAP issues, analyze consolidated statements, and contribute to the development and mentoring of associates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 6 years of accounting experience.
• At least 2 years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee internal financial management reporting and monthly disclosure reports for leadership.
• Review journal entries and complex general ledger reconciliations, researching U.S. GAAP issues and resolving discrepancies.
• Analyze consolidated financial statements to ensure transactions comply with U.S. GAAP.
• Evaluate and develop associates, including hiring and disciplinary action.
