Job description

We are seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to serve as a key link between accounting and business operations. Unlike traditional technical compliance roles, this position is highly focused on business performance, expense management, budget-to-actual variance analysis, and direct partnership with department leaders to drive operational efficiency. This role is responsible for ensuring monthly internal financial statements are prepared accurately and issued on time, while overseeing several key accounting areas across the organization. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, analytical, strategic, and an effective leader. What You’ll Do:

• Oversee a team of accountants responsible for preparing monthly financial statements, performing detailed budget-to-actual variance analysis, ensuring appropriate expense accruals, and completing monthly account reconciliations.
• Lead in-depth analysis of budget-to-actual variances to identify key operational drivers, trends, and areas of financial leakage.
• Present monthly financial results and fluctuation explanations to executive leadership.
• Oversee quarterly cost allocation studies and present findings to executive leadership.
• Partner cross-functionally with departments such as Marketing, Information Systems, Human Resources, Travel Services, Sales, and Internal Audit.
• Support and lead special projects as assigned by management.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Active CPA license.
• Three to five years of managerial experience.
• At least five years of financial statement preparation and audit experience, preferably with a large public accounting firm; private industry experience is a plus.
• Oracle Cloud experience is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to effectively manage teams by setting clear expectations and providing ongoing feedback, coaching, and support.
• Ability to think strategically and drive process improvements.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and confidently interact with executive management.

The starting pay range for this position is:

$120,500.00 - $160,800.00

Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
