beneschlaw is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager for its Cleveland office. This hybrid position requires managing financial reporting activities while supervising a reporting team. The ideal candidate will have over five years of relevant experience, preferably in a law firm, and strong skills in financial reporting and data analysis.
The salary range is $110K to $137K, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus and benefits. The role emphasizes collaboration, training, and providing insights to enhance firm performance.

We are looking for an experienced financial professional who loves all things related to financial reporting and is ready to be the point person managing daily requests to ensure stakeholder needs are met. The role combines hands‑on reporting with supervision of the reporting team’s responsibilities to provide timely, actionable analyses and information that support management in improving overall firm performance.
The candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration and at least five years of relevant experience in data analysis, financial reporting, or accounting, including project management responsibilities; law firm experience is preferred.
Requirements include in-depth knowledge of financial reporting, modeling, and financial statement preparation, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, macros, Power Query, and data manipulation), and experience with SQL, Power BI, SSRS, and Aderant highly preferred. The role also requires exceptional attention to detail, strong problem‑solving abilities, discretion with confidential information, effective written and verbal communication, excellent time management, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
The salary range for this position is $110K to $137K. Base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that Benesch provides. Full‑time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
