Job summary

Frontline Insurance in Lake Mary, FL is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to prepare routine and ad-hoc financial, regulatory, and operational reports for executive leadership. You will design and maintain Power BI dashboards, ensure GAAP and regulatory compliance, and support process improvements in accounting/finance.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in accounting-related fields, have ERP and BI experience, and can work in a fast-paced, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting Information Systems, Accounting or Finance.
• ERP and accounting information systems experience preferred.
• Experience with data analytics, database management software, DAX and BI tools a plus.
• Practical knowledge of GAAP and Statutory Accounting Principles.
• Financial services or insurance industry experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and a self-starter attitude.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
• Experience working in a dynamic, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare routine and ad-hoc financial and operational reports for Executive Management and departments.
• Accurately prepare financial regulatory filings and data calls.
• Analyze financial reports and investigate discrepancies with management.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and other financial infrastructure.
• Assist with reporting requirements documentation and QA/testing of reports.
• Help document changes to accounting/finance processes and ensure proper implementation.
• Demonstrate knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and core reports.
• Support special projects, ad-hoc reporting, and day-to-day tasks.
