Job summary

Allison Transmission, based in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a Financial Reporting Analyst to support the accuracy and timeliness of close processes, prepare financial statements and segment reporting, and maintain consolidation systems in line with US GAAP.

You will collaborate with accounting and finance teams, assist intercompany reconciliations, and support SEC-related tables and disclosures for quarterly and annual filings while strengthening internal controls.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of intercompany eliminations and consolidation entries.
• Working knowledge of corporate accounting and finance principles in a financial reporting environment.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills; ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and preparation of financial statements and segment reporting.
• Coordinate with accounting and finance teams to obtain information for the close process.
• Assist with intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
• Support the maintenance of consolidation systems, data validation, and account mapping during close cycles.
• Assist in preparing SEC reporting tables and disclosure schedules for 10-Q and 10-K filings.
• Maintain accounting records in accordance with US GAAP and company policies.
