Job summary

Nestlé Purina PetCare is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Financial Reporting team. You will ensure accuracy and integrity of consolidated Nestlé SA results and internal management reporting, preparing schedules, reconciliations, and audit-ready documentation.

You will collaborate with Finance, Tax, Legal, and external auditors, applying IFRS and Nestlé standards, while supporting process improvements and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
• 2+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Within the 2 years of required accounting experience, at least 1 year must be in public accounting.

Responsibilities

• Support reporting for Nestlé Purina PetCare financial statements within consolidated Nestlé SA results and internal management reporting.
• Prepare and coordinate quarterly and year-end reporting deliverables, including balance sheet and management reports.
• Reconcile, analyze, and document key balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Research and apply IFRS and Nestlé accounting standards for compliant treatment.
• Provide documentation for interim and annual audits and other audit support.
• Assist with process improvements, standardization, and automation efforts in reporting.
• Communicate financial information clearly with stakeholders to resolve questions.

Position Summary

As a Financial Analyst on the Financial Reporting team, you will help ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of Nestlé Purina PetCare financial reporting. This role supports both consolidated Nestlé Purina SA reporting and internal management reporting by preparing financial statements, reconciliations, analysis, schedules, and audit-ready documentation. You will also partner across Finance, Accounting Operations, Group Accounting and Reporting, Nestlé SA Business Services, tax, legal, and external audit teams to support sound accounting decisions and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support key areas of reporting for Nestlé Purina PetCare financial statements included in consolidated Nestlé SA results and internal management reporting
• Prepare and coordinate quarterly and year-end reporting deliverables, including Nestlé Internal Balance Sheet reporting, management reports, schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
• Reconcile, control, and analyze key Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and strong documentation
• Research and apply IFRS, Nestlé Accounting Standards, and internal balance sheet reporting requirements to support compliant accounting treatment
• Provide documentation and analysis required for interim and annual external audits, including PBCs and other audit support
• Support accounting-oriented projects, process changes, reporting improvements, controls, standardization, and automation opportunities
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate financial information clearly and resolve reporting or accounting questions

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of professional accounting experience
• Within the 2 years of required accounting experience, at least 1 year must be in public accounting

Other

• Master's Degree in Accounting preferred
• CPA or pursuing preferred
• Experience with Excel, Power BI, SAP/GLOBE, or financial reporting dashboards preferred
• Experience supporting external audit requests, government surveys, or other compliance reporting requirements preferred
• Experience improving financial reporting processes through standardization, automation, stronger controls, or better documentation preferred

The approximate pay range for this position is $68,000.00 to $90,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
