Job summary

Nestlé Purina is seeking a Sales Analyst to provide analytics and insights that drive sales objectives and strategic initiatives. You will partner with Sales, IT, and cross-functional teams to build and deploy BI solutions using data warehousing, modeling, and storytelling.

The role emphasizes collaboration, data-driven decision making, and development of new capabilities that enhance reporting content and competitive advantage within the pet care market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 1+ years in Digital Category Development, Sales, or Marketing Analytics.
• 1+ years' experience with Power BI including visualization, measures, and reports.
• 1+ year experience with retailer or syndicated data; machine learning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use data to identify trends, exceptions, and proactive alerts.
• Translate business questions into analytical solutions and actionable insights.
• Collaborate with Sales and analytics teams to improve reporting and decision making.
• Lead adoption of innovative BI solutions to support Omnichannel business objectives.
• Coordinate with third-party data providers for data acquisition.
• Provide IT support for current tools and develop new capabilities.
• Coach stakeholders on deploying analytics across the team.

As a Sales Analyst you will provide analytics and insight into the development of data sources, as well as analytics and strategies to deliver against key business objectives and drivers. This role is a key partner for Sales and cross functional teams, expected to proactively provide innovative Business Intelligence products that support team business objectives and Nestle Purina’s Strategic Roadmap. In this role you will utilize business intelligence, data warehousing, data modeling, and data storytelling.

• Use data and analytics skills to determine trends, exceptions, and proactive alerts to drive enhanced business results.
• Translate business questions into structured analytical solutions, leveraging data to generate clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with Customer teams and across the Nestle analytics community to develop enhanced reporting content that drives new insights and improved decision making.
• Surface and lead adoption of innovative solutions that provide Nestle Purina a competitive advantage, further digital transformation, and support our OMNI businesses.
• Lead connection with third party sales data providers to ensure streamlined and efficient data acquisition.
• Lead for IT support in maintaining current tools and development of new capabilities.
• Deploy solutions by coaching and embedding technology throughout the team, and provide coaching and guidance to key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Institution with 1+ years of experience in Digital Category Development, Sales, or Marketing Analytics.

OR

• High School Diploma with 4+ years of experience in Digital Category Development, Sales, or Marketing Analytics.
• 1+ years' experience with Power BI (or comparable platform), including visualization, parameters, report optimization, creating measures, modeling, reports/dashboards, and dataflows.

Other:

• 1+ years of SQL and/or Python experience preferred.
• 1+ year of experience with retailer and/or syndicated data preferred.
• 1+ year of experience building machine learning algorithms preferred.

Salary: $69,133.50 to$95,432.00 per year

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
