LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established organization in Houston to add a Financial Reporting Analyst to its corporate accounting and reporting team.

The role supports SEC reporting, technical accounting, consolidations, stock compensation, and quarterly reporting, with a path from public accounting experience into a broader corporate environment. This position offers hybrid work and exposure to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of public accounting experience (Big 4 or regional firm experience highly preferred).
• Experience with SEC reporting, financial statement preparation, or external reporting.
• CPA or CPA-track preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of SEC filings including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks, and other regulatory reporting.
• Prepare and maintain supporting schedules, disclosure tie-outs, and rollforwards.
• Participate in monthly and quarterly close activities and consolidations.
• Support external audit requests and assist with audit schedules.
• Maintain equity, stock compensation, and non-controlling interest schedules.
• Analyze financial results and assist with reporting dashboards and ad hoc projects.
• Partner with accounting, finance, and leadership teams on reporting initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate coming out of public accounting or someone with a blend of public accounting and industry experience who has hands-on exposure to SEC reporting, technical accounting, consolidations, stock compensation, and quarterly reporting.

What You'll Be Doing:
