Job summary

You will collaborate with senior business leaders, risk, negotiations and compliance teams to provide practical legal advice in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years at a top-tier international law firm or in-house legal department focused on financial regulatory matters
• Expertise in securities/derivatives regulations
• Knowledge of regulatory issues relevant to SEC-registered broker-dealers and regulated trading infrastructure
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills in an open office environment
• Ability to thrive in a diverse and fast-paced team environment

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and help ensure regulated businesses comply with their regulatory and commercial obligations
• Provide legal support and advice to internal stakeholders including business, operations, compliance, risk and sales and marketing
• Help draft and negotiate agreements and regulatory responses
• Develop knowledge of securities and derivatives regulation globally to complement a high-performing legal team with a broad portfolio of regulatory issues
• Thrive in collaborating with colleagues to deliver first-class advice and execution to Bloomberg
